Dr. McAllister is a board-certified family physician and nationally known health expert. She is also a cofounder of Momosa Publishing LLC, publisher of MommyMDGuides.com and DaddyMDGuides.com and the Mommy MD Guides book series. She is a coauthor of The Mommy MD Guide to Pregnancy and Birth The Mommy MD Guide to Your Baby’s First Year, and the forthcoming The Mommy MD Guide to the Toddler Years.

Dr. McAllister’s nationally syndicated newspaper column, Your Health, appeared in more than 30 newspapers in the United States and Canada and was read by more than a million people each week.

A nationally recognized health expert, Dr. McAllister has been the featured medical expert on more than 100 radio and television shows. She recently appeared on Good Morning America Health. She’s the former host of Rallie on Health, a weekly regional health magazine on WJHL News Channel 11 with more than one million viewers in a five-state area, and No Bones about It, a weekly radio talk show. A dynamic public speaker, Dr. McAllister educates and entertains audiences from coast to coast with her upbeat, down-to-earth delivery of the latest health news.

In 2010, Dr. McAllister founded PonyUP! Kentucky, a company that creates unique, equestrian-style handbags and accessories to raise money to support rescued and retired horses. She is also a mother of three sons and a grandmother of two toddlers.
